							As design elements throughout the course, Nelson and Wright incorporated small, hand-built stone walls reminiscent of rice field terraces to shore up sides of fairways and tees. Balinese culture is also evident through handcarved stone tee markers and intricate stone gods that serve as 150-yard markers. There is even an authentic, actively-used temple located on the beach just off the 17th hole.
