| Spread over 880 acres with five and a half miles of pristine white sand beaches and five secluded bays, Turtle Bay Resort is the jewel of Oahu's North Shore. With a recently completed $40 million renovation, Turtle Bay is a Mecca for outdoor recreation enthusiasts with two golf courses, world-class tennis facility and unlimited water sports including the world's most famous surfing venues- Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay and the Banzai Pipeline. Turtle Bay Resort's two 18-hole golf courses, the Arnold Palmer Course and the Fazio Course, have been completely renovated with seashore paspalum to include tees, fairways and greens. The Palmer Course, designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, is the site of the PGA Senior Tour's Turtle Bay Championship. This Championship course plays to 7,199 yards and offering five sets of tees on each hole, and in some cases six, to ensure that the course is challenging and can be enjoyed |
by players of all skill levels. The front nine offers a links-style layout while the back nine plays through a truly tropical setting wrapped around natural tidal pools and ponds, skirting the shoreline. The course forms a horseshoe around 100 acres of unspoiled wetlands. The Fazio Course has hosted the LPGA Tour's Hawaiian Open and was also the site of the first Senior Skins Game. Three sets of tees are offered with the course playing to 6,535 yards. The course is George Fazio's only golf course in Hawaii and offers generous fairways, large deep bunkers and immaculately sculpted greens. The Fazio Course offers a wide variety of shot-making opportunities and breathtaking vistas of tropical hillsides and mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
